Geoboard 7 x 7

The Geoboard is a wooden support on which dowels are fixed, in a grid network.
 In the version made in the 3 P'tits Bois workshop , it is:
 - mounted with 49  trunnions  in beech with a diameter of 8 mm, 
 - supplied with 35  colored elastics , rubber
 - delivered in an "Oekotex" cotton pouch.
 - accompanied by a booklet containing at least  7 models.
 
 Size = 19 X 19  cm (approx)
 Handmade, with fir  3 ply 19mm thick.
 
 It allows you to experience:
 - free creation , figurative or not,
 - the reproduction of figures, with the models provided, in particular
 - the construction of geometric figures,
 - symmetry thanks to the odd number of rows of dowels
 
 It also allows you to work on fine motor skills , concentration , spatial identification,  the first notions of geometry (square, rectangle, triangle, etc.), but also working memory. .
 It is possible to experiment with itineraries  (move forward  4 straight ahead, turn left, go forward 1...) 
 
 The Geoboard is a tool that can be used until middle school.
 
 It comes with a usage suggestion sheet.
 
 It is entirely possible to  build a different size or different number of trunnions. Contact me for any special request :)
